We use natural wood veneer which means no two pieces will be identical, and each piece will have different variations of darker grain and slight imperfections such as plugged knots. Although we aim to use the same supplier and type of wood each time (birch), the colour shade can vary between each item and on each side of the item. 

And while we take measures including masking and sanding to perfect the finish of each product, there may be minor imperfections left over such as small burn marks, or pieces of masking tape that will peel off. There may be a slight burn smell from the laser which will fade over time. Some char around the edge of the product may transfer onto fingers and surfaces.
